Corporate Travel Consultant

Objective:

Provide travel consulting services to corporate clients, ensuring compliance with employer procedures, SLAs, and client travel policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer domestic and international travel consulting services
  • Handle ticketing, invoicing, and receipting
  • Meet KPIs set by supervisor/manager
  • Manage travel requests from inquiry to completion
  • Complete tasks as per employer’s service scope
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and task prioritization
  • Proactively learn ticketing functions, show initiative, and escalate issues as needed
  • Stay updated on software, systems, client policies, and industry standards
  • Ensure accuracy in transactions and adhere to IATA regulations
  • Maintain privacy and safety standards, and keep work areas clean and secure
  • Report technical issues to the supervisor/manager promptly

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the travel industry
  • Knowledge of city, airport, and airline codes
  • Understanding of fare calculations and rules
  • Essential GDS knowledge (Galileo preferred)
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Additional Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ADM, ticketing errors, BSP errors, and hotel reservation issues
  • Accurate processing of accounting and travel information
  • Knowledge of industry processes and client advisories
